  Bridges for New Beginnings

Bridges for New Beginnings is the result of a unique collaboration between Autistic Services and Hope and Homes Children Romania (HHRC). Together the two have worked to close state-run institutions and place their residents into family-type alternatives such as foster homes or group homes. Autistic Services provides annual training to the care givers in working with disabled populations and people with Autism.

  Toner for Autism

Joel Pearlman and Rob Dube are the co-founders of TonerForAutism.com. They met in grade school and started their first entrepreneurial venture by selling Charms Blow Pops out of their lockers. The school principal closed the Blow Pop business down, but that didn’t discourage them – years later they started a business together and have remained successful business partners for over 15 years. Over the last few years, Joel and Rob have been talking a great deal about translating the passion they bring to their business into making a big difference in the world. After quite a bit of exploration and soul-searching, they realized that by using an everyday commodity like toner and ink for printers, which is purchased universally and regularly, and then attaching it to autism, they could realize their dream and help to raise awareness and necessary funds for this important cause which affects so many families in so many parts of the world.

TonerForAutism.com is dedicated to raising awareness and donating at least $1,000,000 by contributing 5% of every sale to organizations that support autism-related research and issues.

  Tardive Dyskinesia Center

The TD Center provides educational information on Tardive Dskinesia, a movement disorder caused by prescription medications that can potentially be confused with Parkinson's Disease.

Tardive Dyskinesia (TD) is a result of damage to the bodily systems that process dopamine, and is typically caused by exposure to certain prescription medications - including Reglan and several antipsychotic medications. The symptoms of TD, which are irreversible and incurable, mimic those of Parkinson's disease or Huntington's disease. Tardive Dyskinesia victims suffer from involuntary, repetitive movements which often continue after the drug is no longer used. The TD Centers features the most up-to-date information on TD, its causes and all known treatment options. Additionally, they distribute free support books and informational packets to their users.
